This is Allusia, the canon setting for many of my characters that I am slowly working on, at least this is a map of the world and its four continents. Its an anthro only setting so you won't go finding any humans here and I have been working on it for quite some time now although I haven't put as much time and effort into its production as I could have to be totally honest but I hope to correct that in the future.
This world is home to Luna Lentz , Azel Adelaide , Sol Hikari Ross Reyla Adelaide , and Druyin (The status of other characters seen in my gallery is pending as they just might show up in their own settings in the future but we'll have to see.) Of course, I'm not suggesting all of them live in the same era either, Allusia is an entire planet after all and its not like I'm aiming to write out just one portion of its history.
The first major story of mine which won't be done for sometime is called Guardians of Epike, its set during Allusia's early 25th century and it tells the beginning of Luna's story as her country heads into war. :3

Interesting enough the majority of this all spawned from a series of roleplays that I was doing with some friends, aside from Luna many of the characters would not have existed if I hadn't done them and a few concepts followed with them. I later decided to take all of those characters and compile them into one big world, lots of countries, time periods, locations.etc. There's a lot too it and you will be seeing more from this setting soon, even if its just images for now but I am working on story stuff for it.
Roleplays can help indeed, even if it's just tiny details.
I have something similar, which at first was just a series of funny adventures without real depth, but as it kept going, I was wondering "Hey, that could be interesting if I added more backstory and lore to this story to add more depth". And after years of concepts, improvements, retcons and brainstorming, it became something involving virtual-life-creating monoliths, star empires with their own story, sentient starships, gender wars, alternate Earth and eldritch abominations, all while trying to make something coherent and a bit less silly.

Yeah, I've got a tons of stuff, mostly just papers filled with ideas and concepts that I spent time just scribbling down and refining. A lot of them no longer apply, even some maps I attempted to doodle are too outdated but all of them eventually lead to the world that I'm currently building now and more or less shared the same name (except for the original, the name of Allusia wasn't present until I revised the entire world for the first time) x3
