I didn't have time to create drawings of my own for these tests, so I grabbed some free templates instead. That being said, apart from the ears being too small, they're actually pretty good matches. This one was drawn by Raigazero on DA. (I added the spines myself).

I did these mainly to figure things out for the upcoming Pickle fursuit. I've decided that the tail's main colour will be black, with a black stripe running up her spine. Both this colour scheme and the version with the grey tail are equally relevant, but I will probably be using this new version for my own artwork from now on.
