Weapon idea for this contest Legends Of Abyseria Weapon Design Contest

Just had fun doodling while watching tv the other night, Scanned, lined and flat colored just cause I can.

Its a Saber (One-handed Longsword) The ornate, vine-like gripguard is what gives this saber its name. The ribbon and vine curl near the tang are there to aid in maneuverability as well as switching hands if necessary. The slightly curved shape of the blade (like most sabers) is designed to cut easily in a sweeping motion while horseback or on foot. the tip thin and very sharp, for jabs and stabs.
