Original suit made by
DreamVisionCreations and now owned by
Silver.Moon. This suit has been through 3 previous owners and is 5 years old. I took this suit in to restore for Silvers 4th owner. I was asked to keep things quiet till after the debut so here is is now!
Here's all what has been done:
Head:
Internal structure, jaw mechanism, and head support entirely redone. Sculpted a lip, gave the face and ears a slight trim to remove the aged frizz. Altered the neck and airbrushed new details.
Body:
Swapped out the chest panel and altered the body to fit its new owner. Heavily washed, stripping 80% of the original airbrushing and brushed out all of the matting. New padding was made and it was re-airbrushed.
Tail:
Brushed.
Hands: Heavily washed and brightened by several shades. Repaired one finger and brushed smooth.
Stilts:
Reglued all claws and removed velcro from front of the legs. Installed zippers on the insides, reenforced the side stilt leg rails, and repaired the broken cable on the left stilt.
Silver is now with his new owner and made his debut at Great Lakes Fur Con. He may some day have his snarl mechanism hooked up. Not shown are the LED eyes and fan. For his age I was greatly impressed with Mono's work, especially the stilts. While repairing them I tested them out several times, being able to stand in one place easily and not having my toes pinch or hurt. I'm not sure where he will be spotted next!
