This is a concept where he's actually a hero. Besides, me and my boyfriend (biggest Zelda nerd I know) talked about it and we agree that at one point, back when the Triforce of Lorule was in tact, he was a hero just like Link.

Well, possibly his ancestor did back when the Triforce still existed... for all we know, this incarnation of Ravio learned courage from Link and gained it himself when their Triforce was restored.

Much like Hilda lacking the wisdom of her actions that lead to this adventure and Yuga lacking power (really, just turning himself and others into paintings) to be of much of a threat himself

I haven't quite beaten the game yet, so....again, this was just a fun little concept. X3
