I love how you can sort of see the way I get more and more mentally exhausted as the sketches go on. Diz is a bit of a scribbled mess. These are fun, but it's not a way I'm used to drawing and it's kinda hard on the brain to figure things out, heh.
I am getting a bit more comfortable with 'em though! I want to work on simplifying the way I do faces a little more, but at the moment I'm fairly pleased.

So do you reckon we'll see more of raptorfluff if you break through?

Adrian_Skunk showed me your journal at work, but now that I'm home and had a chance to check out your gallery, you get a +watch, plus extra awesome points for being awesome! *leaves you a fish head* Mmm, that's the best part.

These all look good -^^- My propisition on simplifying faces... don't go too overboard on that. The face is a complex structure for a reason and the complexity in the face is literally how identify one person from another, it's all those subtle little details in the face that visually make us individuals in ways that body types and stuff just don't.
Just because I may simplify them, doesn't mean I'll be homogenizing them. :P In fact, simplifying should help me focus on getting the defining characteristics of the species more easily I think, since I won't be so bogged down in details. We see where things go, anyway!
Ah gosh! Ru! These have been wonderful! I think this is really awesome to see compared to your usual style. Loving the chibified cute toon versions and thanks for trying your hand on birds here ^^ Having seen so many of your awesome take on anthro birds, this is a wicked cool contrast to see as feral and more toonifed. Both are pretty to look at noon the less! ^^
It took me a little while to figure out exactly how I wanted to go about drawing him. I started out toying with being even more bird-like, sort of like the ref you sent me, but it wasn't jiving for me. In the end I went with something a little closer to how all the other critters were done, and I think it works quite nicely. Heh, either way I'm glad ya like it, thanks!
Just... watch out for those flames. Feathers are flammable, I hear. ;P

I'm willing to bet your problem may be the unclear and jumbled lines of action... http://animationresources.org/?p=3572 You'd love this.
