Congratulations Seattle Seahawks on your monumental and supreme victory!!
This hits home to me since my sister and her husband live in Seattle and are huge Seahawks fans. They are no doubt huge fans and are celebrating big time right now.
For the first time in like forever I drew MLP style representations. It's Gilda Griffon in the Seahawks colors (as close as I could get them) holding a pony in the Denver Bronco's colors.
Needless to say; it was a major massacre on Seattle's part.
And it's actually quite fitting. I dunno if the show ever told you this; but griffons do eat horses. ;D

Well; "on good terms" is a bit strong if you ask me.
There have only been 2 gryphons to date given speaking roles, and some in the background. The first ever was a massive schoolyard-bully brand b*tch to the main cast, and eventually got run out of Ponyville for being a huge jerk. But yeah, no mention of eating horses, or even meat actually
Second is a chef in competition with Pinkie Pie, but it seems perfectly cordial as far as competition goes
then there's a quartet of gryphons in a background shot of a qualifying event for Equestria's equivalent of the Olympics. They're clearly training with the intent to compete, and nopony seems to begrudge them being there.

when I was asked by my dad about who I thought would win...I had no idea....I don't pay attention to football...so I just said eh....Seattle
43 to 8......good god....Broncos....geeze...what happened? This is the super bowl...the big one...losing this badly at the big one is like ...like...crap...I can't even think of a good analogy...still that seahawk gryphon seems mighty pleased with the outcome

They haven't lost this badly in a Super Bowl game since their loss to the 49ers.
(Though they did better in 97 and 98)
But this was indeed their biggest lost in the Super Bowl in their entire history. Real sorry Broncos.
