Concept art of an OC from my upcoming Morphic Pokémon Mystery Dungeon fanfic series first referenced in the Team Ketchum pics.
This is Kayin Knightly, a Knight in the King of Hero's Keep's military. The son of a influential family, he was disgusted with his father's ways of getting money, so he ran off and formed a Biker Gang. In doing so, his father cut him off of all of his wealth for his spurning of his lineage and right to the peasant's money. While capable of forming a gang thanks to his high charisma and kindness, his kindness also made him incapable of being brutal enough to be fully effective.
Eventually, he was saved by one of the King's Knights, an Manetric named Sir Elric Elhorn, and eventually convinced to join as his squire. To his surprise, his entire gang also decided to join, still feeling they owed him some sort of debt. In the following years, the little Chespin eventually grew into a powerful Chesnaught and one of King Raoh's most trusted knights. His youngest daughter, Gala, even has a crush on Knightly, but Knightly often feels that she could do far better than a former punk like himself. He still often wears the outfit of his former job and enjoys riding motorcycles over riding the rare Non-morphic Rapidash or Zebstrika.
It is he and his companion, a beserker viking-esque Feraligtr mercenary named Erik Branford, who find the future Team Ketchum in a dungeon locked in battle with wanted Criminal Hypno, Morpheus, and rescue them from their almost certain demise at his hands.
