I will be releasing a new comic series that I have named “Mike and Aeris” and I felt like now would be a good time to show a sketch of the two main Characters of the new one page series I have yet to get started on. I have yet to color thee two but I'll get to doing that part at another time. So let's get eveyone introduced then.
Mike (Left)
Mike is a white tabby cat at the age of twenty-two. He works at a Nelson Enterprises general store as cashier, phone repair, programmer, stocking shelves and anything that else that needs to be done. Aside from his job he will hang around his unusual friends at times and carry on odd conversations with them. Most of the time he will usually head home after work and play video or computer games by himself or with his best friend Aeris. There are times when Mike will feel a little insecure about himself and there are times where he let's things get to him and he will panic.
Aeris (Right)
I decided to make Aeris a pink kitty-cat. She is twenty-two, the same age as Mike but older by three months. She works at a video game store as a cashier. Wouldn't you believe it Aeris's favorite hobby is playing video games when she has nothing important to do. She really likes to play them with Mike, mainly just because she finds it to be so much fun to beat him at them or laugh when he screws up and dies on a level in a stupid way. Aeris is head-strong and can be a little arrogant at times. When she gets touchy when she is in a bad mood and tends to become hostile. Aeris may look like a very attractive, sweet and harmless girl but that doesn't mean she can't defend herself.
These two are not a couple, they are just friends. This little series I will be doing with them is mainly designed to be a humorous and at time heart warming experience. And like I said above, I plan on just releasing one page comics for these two on this site. So yeah, I really hope it turns out to be fun. Soon I'll get a colored version of this image posted but for now enjoy the sketch.
