A piece I started working on two months ago but only finished just now
Inspired by the theme tune to the 1991 videogame GODS and while looking at Roger Dean’s artwork (and especially the stuff he did for videogame covers)
Though of course I’m nowhere near the skill of the latter

Only thing that seems a bit iffy to me is the circles for sea spray, but when I walk a little away from the screen and look back it gives a really nice effect.
It's a gorgeous art piece. I especially like the blend of nature, old-looking architecture for the bridge, futuristic walls, and organic-looking metal tubes. The forest in bubbles makes ya think. Is this an idyllic future of nature and technology living in harmony? Or is it a dark future where technology is barely keeping the last shreds of green alive in a dying world? The beaten up moon also adds to the impression that it's the aftemath of some pretty huge calamity.
Also the colours are pretty.

I think the postapoc interpretation is your best bet here but I guess it's more like those are really crucial plants and that's what warrants having an isolated automated greenhouse on a remote island for em
Also... isn't our OWN moon also fairly beaten up?
and yeah, I'm actually rather fond of these color choices

i meant to give you my thanks for the Roger Dean link. i only had a moment to glance at his stuff but was instantly taken with it.
this piece is fantastic. i love the color scheme, combinations of lavenders and amethysts with sea and spring greens are beautiful in any application. the bridge lends it a dreamy quality to me, in combination with the active sea.
it looks like the moon spotted some naughtiness occurring in one of the atriums ;')
