I tried to do a completely different pose with him shooting sparks out of his mouth, but... I'm mediocre at most things, but especially fail at open-mouth expressions. So I settled for my original idea: having him hold his head up. ...Literally.

Bio: No special background for this guy, he was among a group of Electromancers who auditioned for a part in the Elemental Force. The stand-out audition was a young female Raccoon who uses electrical weapons. But while she was by far the most powerful in the group, she was by far the most arrogant and selfish as well. In fact, she was expelled from auditions because she refused to give the others a chance, and stormed off in anger.
Tripwire wasn't another stand-out, he was around the same tier as the other members. But his fate would be decided when the final test... was interrupted abruptly by the raccoon from before, who attacked all the other candidates to prove that she was the worthy one. ...But Tripwire helped the others fight her off, right before finding out that she was actually the final test herself. Her entire act was staged.
Tripwire was actually the runner-up candidate after the winner declined the offer to join the force. But who knows, maybe the actual winner could appear in the Elemental Force in the future. Tripwire's neck is something never seen in the world of Animababylon, but the best guess is that he's a cyborg of some sorts. Don't over-think the neck.
Abilities:
A: Pain in the Neck: Tripwire uses his strange neck as a weapon. He shoots his head out to either hit an opponent, or bit the ground and plant his head till the button is pressed again. It is preferable to have his head hit the ground, as he can move around when his head is planted and use his coil neck as, well, a tripwire. When he has his head on his body, he throws his head up and his electrified neck clashes together to create a shock wave. If his head is planted, he shoots over to where his head is, and shoots the shockwave there. He can even use another attack button to create the shockwave where he's standing when his head is planted. Tripwire can make his head float in mid air and shock anything it touches. It's powerful electricity is stronger than his neck and easier to control, but not as diverse. Finally, he can send out bombs in the shape of his head that stay stationary and blow up when enemies come near.
B: Current Trend: He's showing off his powerful electricity in this mode. His neck toss works the same way as it does in the other mode, but doesn't come with the diversity. When he has his head, he can shoot quick weak electric projectiles from his mouth, or charge up a strong electric beam instead. Finally, he can create an electric shock-wave. His only close-range move and it negates projectiles.
