Vargr's closest furry friend,  talonsaurn , over the years has been gifting this wuff with a new form for the Christmas holiday, along with a delightful little story describing how the gift was given, and some shenanigans along the way. Wuff has been the happy recipient of such things as a wonderful golden liquid meta-form he can use in any of his 'alt' forms, plush, and latex meta-forms, and 'charcoal and smoke' fur colors to swap out his normal, rainbow-scintillating prismatic white fur.

This year, Posh, one of Talon's more mischievous characters, decided that Vargr needed even more 'holiday spirit' than normal. And in a hysterical series of events, turned the wuffy (and several other characters) into special "holiday editions" of themselves.

Vargr was absolutely delighted with the description of her results on this wuffy. Vargr has been using this new form to hide out in the mall Holiday displays, and in Christmas Tree lots around his town. He pretends to be a statue or life-size ornament, and waits for pups and tots to come by. Then, when their parents backs are turned, wuffy hands the toddlers gingerbread man cookies from the pine wreath 'round his neck, and jingly sleigh bells from those tied around his paws. Then wuff winks and tells them it was "Holiday Magic" that brought him to life, and just their secret! And waits to see what fun develops from there.

But, despite the fun of playing wolfish mischief and tricks, Vargr's Author was having a hard time imagining all the details that went into the form.

Then  Waffles85 posted a journal advertising special "Holiday Commissions". Shottsy/Waffles has always done a wonderful job on her renditions of this wuffy. The seasonal icons you see for Vargr's posts are examples of some of her work.

Vargr has a weakness of playing "Santa-wuff" for friends and furs in need, and this seemed the perfect opportunity to help out a friend AND to have a chance to see just what Posh's (Talon's) alterations to Vargr would really look like. So wuffy "noted" Shottsy/Waffles with the idea.

And nearly knocked the poor plump Waffles-donkey off his hooves with all the details and fiddly-bits in the description! *chuckles* But after some negotiations (and head-shaking disbelief on the artist's part; "Wow! I've never tried anything this detailed! Are you SURE you want to pay for all that?), we came to agreement.

And this is the incredible result! In just one evening, with two other commissions in line as well (one a multi-page TF sequence), she managed to complete this fantastic work of art! And she did it before midnight, Christmas morning!

Wuff can't say enough how happy he is with this absolutely delightful holiday picture!
