Okay. This one's been complete for a few months, don't know why I haven't posted it yet. Maybe it was just too big to look right at this resolution.
Some characters from a webcomic I tried to get off the ground several times and never had the energy for. The fun was making it as convoluted as possible - a dimension full of bricolage werewolves trying to solve feminism as they try to keep the world from being eaten by giant albino spiders. Just keep piling shit on. <3
From left to right - Andy (raised demure and rich, speaks little english and is worried about the talk behind her back, was raped in a prison camp in spite of her demureness and is bitter that her promised weapon never worked); Chase (Apprentice woodcutter and frat boy with the strength of Lennie, fascinated by cure-all philosophies); Janet (former cheerleader who went to boot camp to learn to teleport, depressed because her fragile sexuality is her sole means to power); Scott (oblivious navigator, severe anxiety issues); Eliss (gay, best archer in the state, tough as nails but wants to stop having to prove herself to people); Clare (new hire, good fencer, used to read fantasy novels as a kid, depressed to learn she isn't magically the chosen one); Ricardo, "Ric" (pothead with clever ideas, dreadlocks, magic fingers); and Tallie (new age thinker, "I feel Indian in my bones," thinks of all this as Americorps, coming to terms with her pansexuality, friends with Clare yet futile crush on Andy), standing with the beer, proposing a toast.
You know, some nights you're all around the campfire and no one wants to do anything but stroke the logs and shit.
