Cleaned and articulated by Cara, part of her personal collection
Soon I (Blue) Will have a similar squirrel in my collection.
This is a complete large female grey squirrel skeleton. Some parts have been reconstructed, mainly the sternal cartilidge and a few toes. She's posed on a cedar root spike holding half of a hickory nut, in a defensive stance. Very large for a grey squirrel, largest I've seen in my area!
Note, she was found dead of natural causes and was not killed. She's been handled with care and respect.
