Holly smokes another hammer headed hay burner... The nice thing is they are a whole lot brighter than cows! Cow and Chickens... some very dumb critters as a rule.

She is kind of a plan Jane in this photo but a roan or blue roan would be pretty gal.

I've had the enjoyment of working around a few very smart horses along with two that were more like a dog when not in saddle. Ever play fetch with a 700 lb horse? Pronto was raised with a big dog so playing fetch was normal for him. He would bring the ball to you so you would throw it for him.

*giggle* that's pretty funny.

Oh it was hilarious to watch this yearling and the dog going for the ball. Pronto never stepped on Max, it was common to see them napping together.

But you rattle the headstall and Pronto was there waiting by the time you got back with the saddle. Pronto was a real people horse and I think that came from being around Max that was a big loveable goof of a dog.
