I figured "Rest" was a good title, because it can be applied in music as well as to the drawing. Hehe, I like puns.

This was a fun commission for Micmanie on dA of two of his characters. I really enjoyed playing with this one a bit - it's not every day you find a panther that big! The characters' backstories are extremely interesting as well. I found that I was able to connect with this one particularly because just, for one, I like drawing animals, and also because it involved some musical elements; I enjoy music frequently, and I play the viola, so it was fun using some of those ideas here. (Especially figuring out how to shade that violin! It's pretty reflective.)

And I don't do interior areas much, so this was excellent and valuable practice for that. :)
