A rough ink drawing of a anthro hyena piloting a clockwork/mechanical.....thing armed with sharp head-mounted blades and a great big gun. I've incorperated the clockwork beasts into an universe I've been working on. It's a kind of magick fantasy world with mechanical and clockwork machinary. The hyena anthros are a race that are really into clockworks.
I couldn't seem to get the hyena leg positions look correct so I hid them away. They still look strange. The blocky things behind the control arms and next to the hyena's hips are spare ammunition magazines for the gun.

Reminds me a little bit of the picture done by Newton Ewell in one of the books for RIFTS. Specifically, the image of the Shemarrian Warrior on her riding beast, whose name I have since forgotten. Overall, a distinctive piece. Many thanks.

Oh, sweet.
The clockwork artillary machine in my pic comes from a recent creation - a steampunk world of magick and alternative technology. The beast-like machines are magickally infused with a spirit of some kind that gives the machine a basic intelligence and energy to power it's clockwork limbs and innards.

I had gathered you'd like the look of the referent, if you hadn't known about it already. It was your current avatar's similarity to art by Newton Ewell, one of my favorite artists outside of the furry field, that drew me to watching you in the first place. Glad you enjoyed, and thanks for the explanation. Technomagic. Interesting stuff.
