On March 6, 2013, Kasa Yalenchka (Snow Leopard, G) was traded along w/Sandy DiTullio (Golden Retriever, G) and Doug Day (Golden Retriever, C) and $0.5m in 2012-2013 cap space from the Edmonton Totems to the Plymouth Taproots for Marko Sly (Raccoon, F), Sanford Teeson (Raccoon, G), and James Frestrikial (Brown Bear, C).

That was her contract year, and when the season ended, Kasa became a free agent. She was offered one contract, a 6 year/$87 million contract from the incumbent Plymouth Taproots, which she accepted.

Now Kasa hopes to stay put for a while, play through her contract, and help lead Cheeto Wolfote (Wolfote, G), Christopher Zwischenberger (Tabby Cat, F), Nina Lime (Wolf, G/F) and whoever else finds their home in Plymouth, MA to the promised land.
