A little nostalgia trip here, with some more old art, drawn back in 1999-2000. Being an avid fan of the Redwall novels, here's Basil "Stag" Hare, in his much younger years, obviously. Despite the fact that the military group wasn't formally named or revealed until a few books later, I strongly believe that Basil was also a former Long Patrol hare.

Fun fact: His inspiration came from a retired British Army officer friend of authour Brian Jacques, named Captain Kenny Dixon, who had a habit of saying "wot wot" frequently.

(I listed him under Mammals-Other because to call him a rabbit would be VERY insulting to him.)
