Some quick studies I did of my new vampire dragon, Bane. I'm still working on him, but I quite enjoy him already. He's about the size of a horse (a 17 hand horse to be precise). Despite being so large, he is very, very agile and extremely fast.

He is, in fact, not actually related to normal human vampires. Human vampirism would have no effect on a dragon. Vampire dragons are the results of some twisted experiments that certain clans of dragons performed on captured rivals. Vampire dragons can come in any species, since it is not genetic and is the result of spells. Bane's species is extinct now.

I'll try to draw him more later. I rather enjoy him.
