This summer I was watching one of my childhood TV series, Saint Seiya. And omg, I couldn't handle so many hot guys. I drooled the entire time ahaha.
I was thinking how these characters designs would have been with theold style of Yoshitaka Amano. I could die of happiness~ But since that is not possible, I decided to do it by myself imitating his style. It was so fun and easy to do that I don't know whether to be glad or pissed :V
I just did a few of them some months ago, but I want to do all the saints eventually. So here you have the first one, Mu of Jamir, the gold saint of aries.

This series is known as Knights of the Zodiac too, and at least was very popular in southern Europe the early 90s.
It's a pity if this show was never aired on where you live. I recommend it if you like old-theme series, violent fights, manly feelings of brotherhood and zero romance :P

It was watching stuff like that in my younger days that really got my imagination going back then
So I think that really became a part of my whole creative side. I even got the DVD box set of it again last year just to relive the memories, hehe.
Anyways, yeah, I might look out for it

I like to collect childhood shows too. Not long ago I got the DVDs of Future Boy Conan and Maple Town (and Saint Seiya, of course!) and I'd love to get Sherlock Hound, Moomin and Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds! :'3

Here we had many cool shows and almost everything that was aired here was aired in France and Italy too. We shared many cartoons and anime's :D
But all that is in the past /weeps Sadly there are only gossip and reality shows 24/7 now. I think there aren't children cartoons anymore in the public broadcasting (not 100% sure because I don't watch TV).
