Vulcloks sleep naked as they dont beleive in "bed clothes" and find that odd. and yes, he sleeps with his prince.
in the winter males go through a sort of winterization and get thicker hair, longer fangs and claws more hair in various places and they get a sort of mane that goes down their entire back to their tails. it will fall out at the coming of spring though.
and its also their season when they primarily breed. so his prince best keep his beast tamed, else there may be a switch in authority momentarily if you get what i mean.
but this is them preparing to go off to bed for the night, and this is the first time Prince vaine has seen his omniguards body fully enveloped in its winter coat...

then maybe you should introduce a new character that brings the cuteness out of him
that how i did it, vaine wasnt super cute on his own. he never talks, stays in his room, is super literal and a very dry sense of humor and avoids socializing.
his guard though has a very polar opposite personality that sort of makes for a neat mashup
