Oh, there is. A big one. You have to come in through a special pedestrian gate and check in at a kiosk...then stay on the one trail the whole way. They have people in cushmans running by every now and again checking up and everybody has to be off the property by 4 pm. It's a special deal the state made with PGand E (pacific gas and electric) to allow people to see more of the coastline And get a peep at the plant.
I always used to invite them in, offer them a drink and then tell them about MY church. The Church of the Good Times and our services were driving up the river to a good swimming hole, getting naked and drunk and having sex with as many girls as possible. All the while i'd be getting drunk, of course. Not many lasted long, those that would even come in when I answered the door with a beer in my hand.
ROFL!! Now THAT'S My kind of Church!! Ha! How do you join?
I remember my father answered the door one time in one of his Better Moods....invited them in and told them that it was funny they should stop by that particular day as it just so happened that he was entertaining Satain in the next room and they were just discussing what to fo with the Overly Abundant Mormon Population in that area!
Let me tell Ya......you've Never seen someone move so fast out the door! I know it sounds horrible.....but it was Damn Funny!!
