This is Tool, a character from Ship Breaker and The Drowned Cities by Paolo Bacigalupi. For this commission I read the two books and made an image of Tool according to how I pictured him. Tool is a `half-man`, which means he is part human part tiger and part hyena. He is used to fight a lot, so that is why I pictured him with lots of scars. In the book he is sometimes called "dog-face" and he really hates that.
