I like to think the image at the top is goat god, shining the divine light of goat creation down on Donelly. My whole face is internally confused about how each of her faces can be so gat dang adorable, no matter what.

I was trying to draw her face in different ways. I'm still not sure about what I want her final look to be. But actually, real goats have these long, narrow heads so none of these is an accurate representation of a goat-type person. I mean, not that I ever strove for realism or anything, but whatever.
Uh, for the record I think I like the bottom-left one the best, with the coy sideways look. I also like the one on the top left but it reminds me too much of a Pogo character :P

Can I tell you my dark secret? My family used to own a goat farm :C It has made me actually pretty much entirely dislike goats. Some individuals excepted.

You do everything in a toony sort of style, with large, forward facing eyes. There's really no way to do large, forward facing eyes on a goat and have them strongly anatomically resemble a goat, so I mean, you know...

But you give her a small, narrow muzzle there so like, it is goaty. You can tell she's a goat, even facially you know? there is enough goat there, I think.

The bottom left one was a little too hot and spicy for me, you know? Just like, she's coming on to me and I don't know how to respond to that.

Top left looks like she's about to go on a gat dang adventure, and she didn't choose to do it, and she just learned about this information about this quest she's gotta go on, but in the end she's gonna learn about herself and persevere against the odds. Directly down and to the right is where she's gotten the determination to carry though after making the decision that she really is the hero after all.

I would read Donnelly's Big Collar Adventure, ok?

Read it? Hell, you practically wrote it in that one short paragraph! All that's missing are a few details like her narrow escape from the fire swamp and her death-defying chase scene atop a speeding train. But no car chases! I hate those things, SOOO cliché.

Plus a train scene escape is like, a great visual piece in a comic/etc, but a car chase is always kinda muddled and hard to follow.

left side second from bottom is my absolute fav tho.

She looks sleepy, so sleepy in fact that she forgot to say "Bahhh" and instead said what kind of animal she is. Now that's pretty darn sleepy!

Look, maybe I like my girls real sleepy and confused :c
