In homage of all that has happened over the past two months, I splurged and purchased a Fluttershy plushie. She is the symbol for all that has come about at my workplace. And, if the meeting I had this Friday is any indication, I do feel things really are going to finally move in the right direction. :)
Thanks to all of you for helping me work through this trial while helping me find a way to relate my feelings through Fluttershy. I truly feel proud for "Putting My Hoof Down" this week. Come what may, this dino-ducky is well padded and ready for action!

She will. Especially since Snowdrop and Fluttershy are now my "Pony Influences". Though, forever and always, I will be #1 to Spike. :)
Still waiting for my Snowdrops. Though, one said she was 2/3 done and the other just needed a mane and a tail. So, hopefully, in the next week... *Shrugs* :)
Commissions are a rough thing. Not just for the commissioner, but the one being commissioned. Both parties have an expectation, but it is so much easier to pay for a work than to do a work.
I owe Nishi a lot for sharing with me the horrors of taking commissions. People can be really mean about it. So, despite my Snowdrops being over a month late, I am still patient as, well, the last thing I want is to force an artist to "Force" a work. Worse, I don't want them to feel I'm insensitive to the fact they have lives outside of making plushies. :)

Indeed, that's a big part of why I haven't ever given serious consideration to offering commissions. Obviously, I wasn't aware of the deadline you were given or I never would have mentioned it.

Yep! And he looks extra adorable in his diapers, too! :) I have a cute, little bed that I never forget to turn into a seat for him during the day. And, when I leave work, I use the special plushie pillow Nishi made to get him all cozy and covered up before I go.
Oh, I should've had both Snowdrops by now. However, things come up and, well, I'm not a meanie-face-head. Especially as the one is a pretty renowned plushie maker, which I didn't know, and the other has had to be of more help to a girl she is a nanny for.
As the renowned one is also in school, I find collegiate work far more important than having a plushie right this moment. College is your chance to shine and the last thing you need is stress.
As for the other, golly, how can you ever put a plush over the well-being of a little girl?
So, in sum, I happily wait. :)
