well every year there are some fires. they're sad to see. but then new little trees get a chance to grow into big ones in a few years or decades.
i just hope that fire that was where the pine nuts come from doesn't mean there won't be any pine nuts this year. i love those things.
of course a lot of those fires i really wish wouldn't happen. i wish we could live among the trees like in fantasies, without having to know and fear we'd get burned out if we did.
i love the twistiness of nature and i believe there is something in all of us that our sanity requires and that living in square boxes surrounded by square streets is why there is so much non sanity. especially in political decision making.
