Ottober seems like the ideal time to share this photo of a carving situated in the main Council Chamber of the Council House, the centre of political discourse here in the City of Coventry.
The Council House was built about 100 years ago and the seating for the councillors in the debating chamber is fantastically carved in an Art Nouveau style with patterning, figures and hundreds of animals and birds. Including this otter with his fish. I got loads of pictures of them
