Howler from the Drac Pack. Info ---> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drak_Pack
Even though this show was from my " era " as far as Saturday morning cartoons were concerned, I never watched the Drac Pack. But I always liked this guy from the old ads for the show featured in comic books from the 80s. I did just skim through a few episodes on Youtube... it's as good as any Hanna Barbara show was back then. Howler's voice is somewhat unfortunate.
If he were my character, I'd never stop drawing him puh-personally.
Oh, by the way, this is
Tzologeist 's fault cuz of this http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11679783/

Admittedly, would be interesting to see him inflated.

Wow! You really did a fantastic job on Howler here. This wuff watched a few of those episodes, but might have to check some out on the youtube again.
The level of detail, shading, and espression on this are really top shelf! And wuffy can certainly see the appeal of drawing him again and again! Heck, Vargr certainly wouldn't object if you did!
Hehe, when Vargr first glanced at the icon on his "new" page, wuffy thought that might be Ralph in his "halloween werewolf" phase! *giggles* Then it was all like, "Hey, wuffy remembers that guy!".
Now, lets take him out trick-or-treating and see how much candy we can stuff him with! He's got the perfect shirt already, for showing off how full and big and tight his fuzzy tummy is getting! *grins naughtily*
"C'mon, Howler! You can't be full yet! There's still 3 blocks of houses, two candy stores, and a all you can eat buffet yet to go on this route! Then we can head back to wuffy's place for pumpkin pie, cocoa, and S'mores before wuff's fireplace! What, your belly already looks like a pumpkiin and feels tighter than one? Nonsense! Wuff's seen FAR bigger pumpkins than that at the county fare! You're not half full yet!"

Some people wonder if Ralph is a werewolf so it makes sense.
Sometimes his tummy does look a bit less trim in a few of the episodes since I don't think the artists cared much about consistency much.
There is a fanart pic of Halloween-candy Howler here on FA... and Da I think.

Here's a classic comic book spread (at the staple as was the practice) that shows the CBS line-up for 1980. All times EST apparently.

And that's another one, isn't it?
You know you're getting old, when you can remember when comic books used to have advertising.

I saw it in the summer of 95 or 6 on a uhf station that showed the wraith death race 2000, tiger heart, dinkie dog the king and his short subjects, filmations heckle and jeckle and tom and jerry (all in bad unstable quality even on cable). they replaced it all with bkn before becoming a pax affiiliate and then vanishing.
