These are the character badges I made for my boyfriend and I for the convention we attended this past weekend: Rainfurrest. It was our first furry convention and while it was smaller than what we're used to with other Seattle conventions it was still plenty of fun and we'll be returning next year for sure!
I actually got a fair amount of compliments on these, and I wonder if anyone would be interested in commissioning custom badges in this style? They are designed to fit in the classic 3x4 inch badge sleeve with a bit of the character's head sticking out. They are not laminated and do not come with a badge sleeve, it's just the art. One character and name per badge, but I can make partner badges in requested poses if you like, these badges were meant to mirror each other in pose and expression. Drawn in marker, $15! :0

Yes!!!! It was really cool! I am not as familiar with furry artists or suiters as I should have been, but I did get to meet Flinch! I think he had to deal with a lot of fangirling over the weekend so I tried to keep cool but I had no idea he was gonna be there and I was really excited! I'm pretty positive we'll go again next year, but I'd really like to have my own fursuit by then, I think the convention would be SO much more fun in costume. Surprisingly enough, Corey even liked the idea of being in suit, they just made it look so fun!
The convention actually had a lot of panels about fursuit construction and tips on how to act when you're dressed up and stuff, super helpful! And Corey said that if he ever did get a costume, he wouldn't want to be CVizzle. Says he's too boring looking. There's a name he goes by sometimes, "Froopy", he says he wants to make a character based on it that's a little more colorful and interesting. Corey's favorite character at the convention was Hogwash, he really liked the blue and orange combination so it might be based on that.
