This is one of the "beautiful things" I have made at the request of my friend. This particular necklace is for a teenage boy who is one of Faith's people.

The central piece is on of my twisted wire pieces done in copper with turquoise wire wrap. I also used leather on this piece, some of my much prized blue leather. The person I made this for is like me, loved texture so I added the leather both as a design element and as a textural element. The necklace it is on is double ribbon threaded with seed beads and dyed agate beads (they are the only stone beads I have that reliably fit on the ribbon). The necklace construction is the same as my badge lanyards which I know are very durable.
