Baby's first badge! I still need to punch a hole in the top for a lanyard & see about laminating it...& I still need to decide whether I wanna bother making antlers lol.
If anyone's interested I'd definitely consider taking commissions like this! It's made of velvet & glitter cardstock with some sequins & bells & stuff I found at JoAnn's.

BrokkoliandBoots was kind enough to point out, these can be laminated just fine! So unless you just want to pet the velvety flesh of your new cutout badge I will include lamination (& shipping) in the price if anyone's interested.

Ahhh unfortunately it totally depends! They have so many different sequins & studs & gems & colours, so really it depends on how many different colours you want I'd think, since the velvet & glitter cost the same. If you can send me a reference of the character you were considering & give me a thing to go for (super glittery, christmassy like mine, halloweeny, what have you) then I can get you a more legitimate quote! O: But I can safely tell you that unless you only want the colours I picked out for Mylah that it'll be at least ten dollars ahahaha ;w;

If you want to wear it at a con, then yeah, you'll want to laminate it. After it's been laminated, the layers of paper will have sort of a bubble-look around it, but its not horrible. You basically want to decide if the texture of the paper is more important, or if the wearability(??) is more important.

But yes! Papercraft CAN be laminated! And I would encourage you to do so :D

If you're interested just note me with a ref of the character & what you want in the badge (do you want a certain theme or just plain glitter) & let me know if you want a bunch of rhinestones & sequins & stuff or just a plain glitter background & I'll be able to give you a proper quote :3 But they usually run between 15-25, including lamination & shipping.
