Chuckling, Miracle put one end of the pole on the ground and leaned on it, "This is exactly what you asked for, remember? You wanted to be able to fight effectively in an environment when you couldn't rely on your sight."

"Well, yeah, I did," Vesara grudgingly admitted. "Thought maybe there'd be a little more instruction than 'Put this on and hold this' ya know?"

"Y'all be fine. Just rely on your instincts, try and listen for your opponents movements and act accordingly."

Vesara nodded and slowed her breathing down. Listening carefully, she thought she heard a faint rustling, but was distracted by several quick jabs to the stomach and shoulders. "Ow! What the crap!"

"I said go with your instincts remember," Miracle responded giggling. "Is your first instinct in a fight to just stand there without any guard at all?"

"All right wisefur, go ahead and try that aga... OW!" Several more quick jabs to her legs and arm connected before Vesara put up a guard. She heard the swishing of Miracle's long hair to her left and she took the opportunity to swing, scoring an solid hit to the defenseless air in front of her. A quick whack on her rear startled her into losing her balance. "Jeeze Miracle, what is it now, ten to nothing?"

A quick bonk on Vesara's head brought a smile to Miracle's face, "Thirteen, but who's counting?"

Vesara groaned. This was going to be a long training session.
