“You know, the music is quite lively don’t you think Shani?” Osiris said in an amused tone of voice that left me even more paralyzed then before after he said my name. Did he expect an answer to that question? Was I required to give one? What did I do? Am I in trouble? If I don’t answer am I going to be in trouble? Question after question raced through my mind as the Prince stood in front of me sipping large portions of our best wine. With a clunk, the Prince set down his goblet and took two steps closer to me. His paws reached out towards mine, lifting one paw just under his chest and the other above my head. My gaze automatically lifted until my eyes where locked into his.

“May I have this dance?” He said candidly

It took every last bit of courage to squeak out “Dance accepted” before he drew me
closer to him causing my feet to step and my body to twirl to the music.
