I was born in '77 so I kind of grew up in the aftermath of the '70s. Still, the powder blue pinstripe is instantly recognizable to me. Family wedding photos from the time are filled with powder blue tuxes and ruffled shirts. Who the hell decided those looked good?

I wasn't in on that meeting either.

When was Ralph born?

Umm... well... I first drew him in like June of 1989. Dunno the exact day though.

I'm curious how old he's susposed to be. No...wait, don't tell me. That would make him less of a mystery.

So, how old does that make him now? I know sometimes comics arn't in "real time". Look at "Dennis The Menace". I've often wonder if you counted each new drawing as a day in his life, how old would he be now? Or even if a dozen drawing represented a whole day in real time, then how much time has passed? Or what if they represented, in real time, the time it took to read them? (I can't imagine 30 0r 40 of them equal to an hour). Anyway that's just a thought.

Generally, I think I draw Ralph in his mid teens to mid 20's. He's not from Earth & I haven't decided what era on Earth his life coincides with.

Yeah I've seen those. As far as quality, they're on par with a Halloween costume if you ask me. Heh heh. What we had back then was pretty well-made for what it was. I had another for my First Communion. Of course, back then, I hated wearing the things.

Your Mom probably got them from a suit shop or something, probably American made, high quality.
