A quick sketch I did for Swatcher which became a finished piece. I just really wanted to play around with colour and lighting and see if I could capture this really specific idea I had for the environment this character lives in.
Phthalo is from Swatcher's Onemoon series, which I heartily recommend as it is rad as heck!
Also Phthalo is actually super fun to draw. Who knew!

ooOO THis is cool, Reminds me of the novel Bait and Switch.
They have "toon painters" in the book that make over people
to fit better in the toon world. So very awesome.
