It's been a while... last journal I made I had just gotten a new job. It's been going well, definitely right about not having the energy to work on too many projects in my off time. But I'm surrounded by creative people that I'm inspired by and get along with, and I get to do stuff that's weird and exciting to me and helps me grow my skillset. It's not a position I'm going to be in forever, but it's pretty good for now.

I've been really struggling to figure out what I'm doing with furry art, a lot of stuff has happened and I don't really feel like the same person I used to be. I just passed 20 years on FA last month, and a lot can change in 20 years.... I was 20 when I joined, unsure of myself, a punk. Now I'm 40 with a salary and a mortgage. My life has become a lot more private and less focused on posting as much as possible. The state of the world has got me down, as you might expect. I doubt I'll have it totally figured out by the end of 2026, but I hope to maybe find myself in some projects as the year goes on, and have some stuff to share.

It's not much news, but since the last journal I made is nearly a year old now, I figured I'd post an update.
