He and Shodai were a couple when they were alife. But over some decades, after Shodai committed suicide, the two couldn't meet, until Shodai finally found out in the 20th century, that there is a Head of Life existing^^ So he could finally meet Alpha again. Sadly (for Alpha) Shodai was together with Enma then. But don't worry, Alpha found a new love later^^

The golden parts on his body are veigns, that he let a doctor implant onto his skin, for causing him pain, so he will never forget, that he is one reason, that Shodai committed suicide. (Shodai killed himself, because he wasn't allowed to visit Alpha anymore)
