The other day at work... some girl who thinks she cool for making mlp art was bashing my art.... I was just trying to relate and be like "oh I art ^w^" and she was like... oh.... yea.... :I if thats what you want to call it =_=;

What a wench. There's nothing to drawing MLP style... it's a toddler's game in my opinion. If she was A REAL artist she would relish in your art too. She would appreciate it and work with you to help each other improve on stuff that stumps the other and see you as a friend and possible collaboration partner.

How freckin annoying. I'm sorry you had to endure that.

That is what I have my best friend for <3 he and I will usually have art day together when he visits and we give each other tips and pointers <3 I have noticed a big improvement in my work since ^w^ there are also times where he will draw something and I color the piece (he doesnt color lol) but I know I like my art and my art style. I just... wasn't a fan of how she critiqued my art since she claims to be a digital artist in the mlp style :I and explained how she doesn't draw... she used shapes (sounds cool but still)

^w^ it really does. I think what doesn't help my case though is I am not posting all the time. And these days most people want digital>traditional. Not to sound catty (because is a fox XD) but I have seen digital artist whose art pales in comparison to mine (not trying to be egotistical :I) and can charge lots more than I do @_@ and will get the commissions because it is digital :/

I know how that is. Traditional art is a dying art form for the fast pace digital life. I honestly love getting stuff I can hold and see the pencil work... it gives me the jollies!

But it happens... Most times it's popularity. You have to know someone who knows someone. I honestly don't work in digital... just this time for icons and it seems I got the hang of simple stuff. XD

It makes me glad to talk to somebody who understands QuQ
