Yes...this is the original 1875 OAK floor. It's circular and it moves vertically like an elevator using 1875 hydraulics.
This is a few from the upper platform, where one steps off onto the floor, when it's at the full up position.
The floor raises and lowers as they change the position of the telescope and it's elevation.
The orange tint is due to the red light, common in an observatory.

The other thing is, that one photo with the stairway tagged with green glow tape... is now lined with red LED light cord.
