This has been a character that has been LONG overdue! I first drew him when I first created him more than 8 years ago. May I introduce to you "Jackal".

Jackal is a canine of German decent and rather blatantly. His thick accent and occasional use of his native tongue in an otherwise english spoken sentence is a dead giveaway. Jackal is an assassin by trade, a gun for hire and he isn't cheap. One of his trademarks is his nice dress attire. A black bowler hat, red vest, black slacks, ect...
Another trademark of his is his rifle.

Jackal's rifle is a highly customized 50 caliber "High Wall" rifle with a falling block and double trigger. The weapon also features custom cross hair sights and a third sight for increased accuracy at greater range. The weapon is better suited for competition shooting and buffalo hunting. But Jackal uses the awesome firepower of this weapon to slay men, women, children, who ever he's hired to kill.

For Jackal it's not entirely about the money. Jackal is a deeply disturbed individual who finds excitement and glee, even pleasure from killing people and watching their blood spill out onto the ground! Even after he's mortally wounded someone with that rifle of his he'll pull out his 12 inch bowie knife and torture his target until they either pass out from the pain... or the blood loss. Whichever comes first. His sick sense of humor, ruthlessness, and brutality know no bounds. Once he's given a target, and another chance to indulge in his joy of slaughtering people, he will always take out his target. No matter how far he may have to chase them.

Now Jackal seems to be involved in something much bigger, something that is directly tied with why A.J.'s father was killed so many years ago. For A.J. Jackal is more than just an adversary... he's the one who killed his father.
