Just some more practice using the mental ray renderer in 3DS Max 2013 and the daylight lighting. Also tried a tutorial I found for the water that looks fairly good.
Model is a free U-Boat model from Bazze. I do like the lighting in this one.

Thanks. It actually reminded me a lot of some of the screenshots I've taken in the Silent Hunter games. I'm not entirely happy with the lighting nor the waves but they look good enough at least.
