Roz Gibson indicated that her murderous character Jack Salem had a future as a power broker in the gaming casinos of 25th century Las Vegas. The image of the Ace of Spades + Jack of Spades, set against the green felt background of a gaming table, cut by a speeding bullet in a high-speed photograph came to mind as an illustration.
This airbrush and ink painting was made to look like a book cover, with room for title and author typesetting.
