Hey! Time for the weird shit of the night.
I actually did this a while ago when school was still in session. This was when we were dissecting our cats in A&P. I have a slight "ptsd" from that whole escapade. Our final exam grade of the year was to clean off the bones and stick them onto a poster board with lables. We had to clean the bones off, and I don't know if you've ever done something like that, but the only real thing at our disposal was boiling. Horrible stench. Anyway, the ribs freaked out like that and got all curly when we boiled the spine and everything. And the tuft at the end of the tail.. lol. Our cat was a sandy orange male tabby we called Franny Esquire II. When we were skinning him, we were pulling the fur as one big chunk off down his tail and the little tuft stuck at the end.
The skull is cut like that because we had taken the brain out, I thought leaving one eye in might make it alittle more creepy. Sometimes I still imagaine gouging out eyes.. but oh well.. lol. Retractable claws are the coolest thing ever. Did you know that cats don't have colar bones? You don't really realize that there is nothing holding your arm on but your scapula, colar bone, and a bunch of muscle and connective tissues. There is no socket really. It was kinda funny when we were stripping the muscle and the arm accidentally completely detached lol. Wormy looking cat.
:D Anyway.. hope this was cool for you. And that it didn't disturb you too much.
Boiling was the worst smell... but I have to say, after several cats had been in the back room without formaldehyde for several months, fermenting. It was rank. Almost threw up while retrieving our cat several times.
Good times. I still have trouble eating ham some times, or, strangely enough, sometimes glass can smell like dead cat. Just saying.
Art belongs to myself.

OP
Lol, well even though it is in somewhat of a cartoony style, the anatomy of the bones is fairly much correct. :P
