Once again, I've tried my hand at digital coloring, this time around adding some gradient shading rather than just flat color. I used to do similar works, but that was when I was using a different program and not nearly as good as an artist as I was back then, though this may bear some similarity to past works. I also use GIMP, which is pretty much the poor man's Photoshop. I think this came out pretty well all things considering. I kind of cheapened out on this pose, her outfit, and the background, but still I had fun doing this.
This mousie character named Diamond belongs to
Furball, who is apparently one of her own original characters that she recently did a new pic of. I took a look at it and well...I felt compelled to draw her myself because...well, mice aren't generally something I draw for one thing and they look cute, so why not? Bam, done.

Glad you liked this, Fur. ^^ I tried a lot of different things this time around and it was really worth the effort. As I admitted before, I kind of messed around with her outfit when I clearly didn't do a whole lot of research on her. Still, mice are something that I generally don't draw very often and this was a lot of fun to attempt.
