Based on one of the very first Star Fox fan-fiction works ever written, Iliria's Curse. Fox is captured and brainwashed by the evil hare Iliria. After he is rescued and restored, Iliria vows to break Fox's heart by breaking Fara's mind next. (But in the end, she's restored to normal, and Iliria is dealt with permanently.)
