Enigma's lips are actually a very dark blue! But depending on your monitor they may look black. Anyway I always give them love, it always frustrates me when I see other artists drawing characters without them, like what the hell! I agree, I always have the most fun with blue innards.
I think I may have a few more pics of Enigma with expressions like this...I'll check, but if not then I can always draw more!

That sounds like my monitor. I've tried messing with the settings, it's still dark like that. My two primary "fursonas" have black lips. One has them naturally, and the other wears lipstick, and yet, whenever someone else draws either of them, they don't include it. I love black, or at least dark colored lips. Blue's my second favorite, but that's because blue is my favorite color.

Yeah you're not alone, on my phone his lips look pretty much black. It's strange because they looked distinctively blue on the laptop...should I perhaps make them a lighter shade of blue? They were originally going to look like a mix of his tongue colour and innards colour, but I felt they didn't stand out enough against his maw when it was open :/ Either way, as long as the full plump lip is there that's all that matters to me c:

Well, it does definitely help them to stand out. Personally, I like them this way, but you do what you feel you must. He's your character. And yeah. Plump lips are nice... Especially when they're dark and shiny.

I think I like them this way too, besides they don't look as dark without shading either. Maybe he can use lipstick occasionally too because he's manly like that. I was considering giving Dragon Enigma the same sort of lip but wasn't sure how it'd look...there's always time to experiment I guess. I'm so glad that you like the full shiny lower lip like I do ahaha XD

Probably because no one is currently violently thrashing around inside his throat! He's totally cool with people venturing inside or sitting on his tongue or lip though...and if they don't squirm so much he's actually not too hesitant to swallow people either.

It would probably knock me over. Not like I'd have very good footing standing on that drooly tongue and all lol and given my luck, I'll fall down your throat. Getting smacked in the face by a big blue uvula isn't exactly an everyday occurrence. I guess I'll just have to hope that you won't swallow. You won't right...?
My plan is to distract so many people with it that they all lose their jobs because of it. You'll find yourself getting withdrawal symptoms, awaking in a cold sweat in the middle of the night itching to admire it further.

The turned out gorgeously as you did an excellent job on the pose and composition of your character for the given idea and showing off his mouth to the micro. You also did very well on the overall look of his mouth for the given angle with the alignment of his teeth and the layout of his tongue. The colors turned out beautifully with a great sense of sheen on his lips, tongue and inner mouth and the lighting and shading was nicely done on that as well. I like his pleasant expression towards the micro and the saliva was nicely aligned with the strands within his mouth and the pool of it at the tip of his tongue.

Being into vore, maws are something I'm hugely passionate about (although humans are not included - no interest at all) and I usually find myself staring at a fair amount of them each day so I like to put lots of effort and detail into it.
The expression is a sort of temptation thing, as well as being like "Come on...you trust me don't you?". Anyway, Enigma is not an aggressive predator and I think your term "pleasant" fits this expression perfectly.
