I always disliked when a teacher picked me for answering the question aloud. I was always timid and made a long pause lasting 5 minutes, while everyone stares directly at me hoping I know the answer, which I do know, I just don't like all eyes on me, nor speaking in front of everyone.
The answer is when the strong force cannot hold the nucleus together, thus becoming radioactive.
Most radioactive elements are from 83 to rest of the Periodic Table. Including us humans are radioactive!
