Yesterday, it was a very special day for me. Me and one of my dear friends, got to spend a little time together with four young Charolais. Three heifers and a bull.
It's not easy for me to say which of all the cattle breeds that are my most favourite one, because there are so many breeds that I absolutely love and adore! But... if I have to choose only one, it might just be Charolais. It's certainly up there in the top three, anyway.
It's been many years since I have had the opportunity to actually get to interact with any Charolais, so it felt absolutely magical to actually get to meet those lovely individuals that we met yesterday. They were quite shy for the most part, but I did get to scritch them for a little while. It made me so happy!

Oh, no... that would be a lot of different breeds to know!
I only know about the breeds that are the most common in Sweden, basically, as well as some more old-fashioned local breeds. :)
I saw quite a lot of Charolais when I was in the Netherlands, although I have never been to the northern parts of the Netherlands, only the southern parts. But they were quite common in the south.
Thanks for the sweet comment!
