Yesterday, it was a very special day for me. Me and one of my dear friends, got to spend a little time together with four young Charolais. Three heifers and a bull.
It's not easy for me to say which of all the cattle breeds that are my most favourite one, because there are so many breeds that I absolutely love and adore! But... if I have to choose only one, it might just be Charolais. It's certainly up there in the top three, anyway.
It's been many years since I have had the opportunity to actually get to interact with any Charolais, so it felt absolutely magical to actually get to meet those lovely individuals that we met yesterday. They were quite shy for the most part, but I did get to scritch them for a little while. It made me so happy!

They were in a pasture with a public footpath leading right through the pasture, in an area where many people go for walks in nature. :)
Unfortunately not very close to where I live. I visited a friend, 3 hours drive to the southwest from where I live, and this place was outside of the town where this friend lives.
